Chris Gribble Bio
With a long-history of sailing, a love of the water and a passion for regatta photography Chris launched KnotJustRacing Photography in 2011.
Always ready to catch the moment, Chris loves being able to give people the ability to see themselves in action on the water. She specializes in capturing on-the-water shots and has taken over 500,000 pictures on sunny days, windy & wavy days, foggy days, and rainy days.
Chris believes everybody, regardless of their age or experience level, deserves the right to share their sailing adventure with others. Over the years she has stopped time by capturing moments at local and international racing events; inland lake and off-shore racing events; junior sailing events; and while cruising with friends and family.
Her work has been published in Sailing Magazine and in Saving Sailing (a book written by Nicholas Hayes). Chris grew up in Fox Point on the north side of Milwaukee. She proudly supports South Shore Yacht Club’s junior sailing program and volunteers for many local events including Louie’s Last Regatta in support of the Wisconsin Children’s Hospital.
